The Melba Copland Secondary School Board has approved the schedule of voluntary contributions, to support the school in providing your student with a quality education. These funds assist in meeting the costs of resources used by all students.
General Purpose Contributions
- The funds cover the High School years and or the College years
- What are Subject contributions used for?
All contributions made to the school are used to purchase consumables for classes to enhance the learning experiences for students. Items include but are not limited to: - textbooks
- replacement texts
- printing credits
- online subscriptions for learning platforms
- art, metal and wood supplies
- science chemicals
- sporting equipment
- music, drama and dance copyright
- cooking ingredients
- computer access
- ID card
- Voluntary contributions; directly support the educational programs and activities provided by the school, and are used to enhance all areas of the school. This contribution can be paid into the Library Trust Fund and is therefore tax deductable. Please indicate this on the contribution slip.
Contributions may be made using Quickweb, a secure web site, accessed via the schools web site. You can also make payments in cash, cheque or credit card, over the phone, mail or paid at the front office. I look forward to working with you, to support the Melba Copland Secondary School.
Please Note: The payment of this financial contribution is voluntary. Students will not be refused benefits or services if you do not choose to contribute, no student will be approached for contributions and your individual record of contributions is confidential.
