Melba Copland Secondary School Information Night

Enrolments for 2025 are now open. Our schools Information Evening will be held on Tuesday 21 May. The High School campus Information sessions will be from 5pm to 6.30pm and the Senior Campus Information session will be from 6.00pm to 7.30pm. We encourage and invite families to come and visit during this evening and find out about our school and the learning opportunities we offer at MCSS.

MCSS gives priority enrolment to students living within its Priority Enrolment Area (PEA).

Enrolling/Transferring - ACT Public Schools

Visit the Education website at www.education.act.gov.au for more information and to enrol using the online enrolment form

Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using an online application form. Full details are available from the Education website.

(Please note, for the purposes of enrolment, Melba Copland Secondary School is a Category B school.)

Applications for 2025 will open at 6am 30 April 2024 and should be completed by 5pm, 7 June 2024.  Enrolment applications made between 30 April 2024 and 7 June 2024 will receive an offer from 29 July 2024. Applications made after 7 June will receive their offers later in the year.

NSW Families

MCSS is the Priority Enrolment Secondary School for Northern area NSW students. The new enrolment policy requires that all prospective Year 7 to 10 students enrol at MCSS if they wish to attend an ACT public secondary school.

All prospective Year 11 and 12 students must enrol at MCSS if they wish to attend an ACT public secondary school.
